Life ReflectionsMr. Wilbert Fields was the 3rd child born to Williams and Johnnie Mae Fields on July 30, 1940 in Aberdeen, Mississippi. He moved to St. Louis, Missouri in 1964, where he currently resided. He lived to the fullest and provided a great lifefor his children and grandchildren.Wilbert was an entrepreneur (self-employed) for over 50 years as a contractor and landlord. He was a dedicated memberof Church of the Living God on Union Blvd., St. Louis, MO for over 30 years until his Pastor Benny died and the church nolonger existed. He was a great humanitarian, to know him is to know giving, caring, and helping anyone in need. He neverjudged your situation or character in his willingness to help. He lived in his neighborhood for over 40 years and was a lovedand respected by all. He would never hold a grudge no matter what the situation involved. Wilbert was truly a man of God,he turned his life over to the Lord years ago. Several people have told us that we had to share our daddy with others, andWilbert did not mind loving everyone. Words he lived by. "TOUGH ENOUGH."Wilbert's parents, first wife (Minnie Fields), two sons (Wilbert & Deandre), two brothers (Maine & Henry L. Fields), and a specialfriend, (Susie Hunter) preceded him in death.Wilbert Fields leaves to mourn: Paulette Fields (his wife of 22 years); seven children, Beverly (Larry), Molly (Glenn), Dianna(Benjamin), Charlotte (Willie), Trina (Bo'), Wilbert, Jr., (Vanessa), William Fields, goddaughter (Veronica); eight siblings, Lucille,Georgia Mae, Jessie, James Robert, Albert Lee, Foster, Diane and Miriam; 21 grandkids and 34 great-grandkids and a host ofnieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.Interment:Fields CemeteryAberdeen, Mississippi on Sunday, February 15, 2015 .
