ObituaryWilliam Henry (Buddy) White, Jr.William Henry (Buddy) White, Jr. was born on February 12, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri. He wasthe oldest of nine children born to the union of William, Sr. and Ruby White, who preceded himin death. Buddy was educated in the Clayton Public School system. He graduated from WellstonHigh School, and majored in Psychology at Moberly Junior College. Buddy served his country inthe United States Army in the Vietnam War and completed his tour in 1973. He was an accomplished writer.Buddy accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was baptist at Clayton Missionary Baptistunder the leadership of Rev Rose of Clayton, Missouri and was re-baptized under the leadershipof Pastor Leon P. Ohara at Holy Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, in St. Louis, Missouri.He rededicated his life to Christ at Greater Northside Antioch Missionary Baptist Church underthe leadership of Rev. R. Solomon Rose Sr. in Houston, Texas. On his journey to get a closerrelationship with God he was greatly influenced and inspired under the spiritual guidance andteaching of the word of God by his Pastor Bishop R. S. Rose II.Buddy met and fell in love with the love of his life Joyce of 40 years and this union were blessedwith four children, Betrice, Bill, Travis and Trenton who had a deep love and admiration for theirfather he was their Hero. Buddy had a radiant smile that would light any room. He was a self-motivated man who even taught himself Spanish as well as many other trades. Buddy was a verykind spirited man that touched many lives. He always extended a helping hand to the homeless,his fellow Vietnam Vets, the seniors on meals on wheels. He took many hours of his time to teachhis expert automotive talent to family, friends in order to help them provide for their families. Buddymet know strangers he would talk to anyone and always had a word of encouragement to give. Hehad such a sense of humor an can make anyone laugh. Buddy often said things others would onlythink to say. Buddy believed strongly in family. He was a loving and protective big brother of hissiblings whom he loved so dearly.Buddy worked at National Tire and Battery for over 16 years, as a Mechanic/Manager and also workfor 4 years at Sears Automotive Center as a Manager until his health failed.Though his affliction God inspired him to become an accomplished writer. Buddy wrote his auto-biography "Two Tears in a Bucket - A Story of Redemption", which was published in 2014. As he stated in his book God doesn't look for Perfection he looks for imporvements.Buddy leaves behind a loving and devoted wife Joyce, his four children, one daughter, Betrice Delores, and Eldest son, William Henry III, and twin sons, Travis Lamont, Trenton Lewis. Six sisters, Deborah Wilson, Joann Screws (Charles) if Akron, Ohio, Denise Reed (Carlos) of St. Louis, Missouri, Donna Rowan(Fred) of St. Louis, Missouri, Jeanette White, Melvina White of St. Louis, Missouri, two brothers Lawrence White of Denver, CO, Robert White of Denver, CO, many aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, in-laws, and a host of cousins and friends.Interment:J.B.
