Life Reflections Mr. Wallace Mathis Jr., was born September 15th, 1945 in Jaason, Mississippi to Mr. Wallaceand Christine Mathis. He transitioned this life from labor to reward on Sunday Alm 16th, 2019.He attended Jackson, Mississippi Schools District and relocated to Saint Louis, Missouri in the early seventies. Brother Wallace surrendered his life to Jesus Christ at a very young age under the leadership of Pastor Oscar Brown at Christ. Temple Church Of God In Christ. After his transition, he continued his Christian walk with Bishop Dr. Williams L. Harper at Christ Community Temple Of God In Christ. Brother Wallace Mathis was a devoted father to his precious daughter, Miss Angie Mathis, he trulyloved from is heart. He was a caring man and a father to nine step-children; licensed foster grandfatherto seven children and taught them to love God, to work hard and to serve others. Brother Wallace workedat Central Mine Equipment Company for over 20 years.He is preceded in eternal rest by his grandmother, Mother Beulah Mathis, who helped to raise him. Brother Wallace was a devoted husband for forty-five years to Maggie Mathis, who also preceded him in death. Brother Wallace Mathis leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving daughter, Angie Mathis, nine step-children, daughter-in-laws, son-in-laws, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews,cousins, and friends, all whom he Loved dearly.
