Life ReflectionsThe third child born to Norman and Josephine Woolfolk, Vera entered into this life September 16, 1948. Her father and one brother, Gary preceded her in death. Always caring and loving, she matriculated as a product of the Scudder School District; (Elzy R. Smith Elementary) and Berkeley Junior and Senior High Schools, graduating in the class of 1966. She also attended Florissant Valley Community College studies for Secretarial Practice. With these studies she advanced to employment opportunities as Administrative Assistant with: Monsanto Chemical, Community Federal (Bank of America), and McDonnell Douglas (Boeing) and proved to be a more than efficient employee. Brought up in the fear and admonition of God. She was baptized August 9, 1959, at the Bridgton Baptist Church by Pastor James Godsby along with several other young people, including her sister, Veronica and brother, Owen. On a blessed day August 19, 1967, she exchanged wedding vows with Charles E. Micheal and together they shared forty-five years of blessed marriage! Two daughters, Camille and Danah were born to this union. A happy family of love, caring, and sharing! Later one grandson, and one granddaughter were added whom she dearly loved and nurtured. Vera's faith was anchored in knowing Jesus and she lived a life of belief in His Word. Her health began to fail but she stood firm. Months of pain, surgeries, and illness became too much to bear and the great God of everlasting peace decided it was time for rest! She transitioned from this life early in the morning of September 8, 2012 to a new and better glorious elevation. Those who will have fond and everlasting memories include: her husband, Charles; daughters, Camilla and Danah: grandson, Eric; and granddaughter, Morgan; mother, Josephine; brothers, James, Michael (Mary), Owen, Gregory (Vemette).
