Life ReflectionsUrsula Binion was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Myrtle and Louis Earl Binion on January 12, 1964. She is preceded in death by her father Louis Earl Binion and her brother Carlos Binion. Ursula attended Euclid Elementary School and then went to Soldan High School. She worked at Creve Coeur Manor as a CNA. Ursula accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior early in life and was baptized into His faith at West End Mt. Carmel, under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Miah White and Senior Pastor George White. Ursula was a good hearted person who loved her family. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. She was always in good spirit no matter what the circumstances were. Ursula kept a smile on her face. She was crazy about her three sons and her grandchildren. Ursula and her fiance Jackie Ray Tompkins have been together for 30 years even though she has known him all her life. Jackie has always brought joy to Ursula's life. Ursula battled lung cancer, myeloma and brain cancer and she overcame two brain tumors and she had congestive heart failure. During the course of her illness she never complained when her health began to decline. She fought a good fight until the end of her life's journey. She was a great warrior. Ursula departed this life on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 5:03 p.m. at Village North Rehabilitation Center. Ursula will truly be missed and she will be remembered for her warm and loving heart. She is survived by: her mother, Myrtle Binion; fiance, Jackie Ray Tompkins; 3 sons, Tracey Taylor, Jr., Mikhail Binion and Vincent Moss; step-daughter, Angela Ray Tompkins; 5 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Timothy Binion (Jackie Binion), Efrem Binion (Paula Binion) and Hydres Binion; 3 sisters, Lois J. Tyler (Darren), Monique Binion (Hosia) and Cornelia Binion; sisters-in-law, Arlene, Reashell, Sherry Tompkins and Cassandra (Jei Berry) Tompkins; brother-in-law, Dun-ell Tompkins(Wanda Tompkins); special niece, Catherine Harvey-Cotton (Dinell Cotton); a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
