Theodore Ewing

Life Reflections Theodore (Ted) Ewing - born March 12, 1926 id the 3rd child of 9 children to Rosa and Bertrum (Birde) Lee Weing. He was brought up and baptized at First Baptist Church here in Meacham Park. He attended james Milton Turner Schoold and Douglas High, here in Meacham Park. he loved sports of all kinds especially boxing, when not participating he was an avid fan. He was interested in the welfare of the young men and children he had an opportunity to mentor. He later moved to Kansas City where he lived for many years, he worked as a courier for a short time. While in kansas City he developed an interest in ministry and was late ordained and returned to Kirkwood, furthering his interest in the ministry at First Baptist Church of Meacham Park as an Associate Minister. Theodore later met and married Georgia (Stroggins) Ewing, they wre united in matrimony on September 7, 2002. No children were born to this union. He now joins, 3 brothers, (Gilbert, Milton, Melvin); and a sister, (Jacqueline) who proceded him in death. He leaves to mourn: a loving wife, Georgia (Stroggins) Ewing; 2 brothers, Bertrum and Byron; a sister, margaret; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery Big Bend Blvd. Kirkwood, Missouri 63122 .
