Life ReflectionsThelma was born on September 3, 1941 in St. Louis, missouri to Booker T. and Carrie LeeLangston. Her parents, brother charles and sisters, Carolyn Hogue and O'Neal Callowaypreceded her in death.Thelma was educated in the Maplewood-Richmond Heights Public School District andgraduated with the class of 1960.Thelma accepted christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Zion Missionary BaptistChurch under the pastorate of the late Reverend J.E. Fiddmont.She worked for TGI Friday for over 25 years. Thelma, akaMiss T., was a very good bowler. She bowled for over 50 years and earned many trophies and awards.In August 2006, Thelma married Clarence Johnson and relocated to Brewton, Alabama whereshe lived until she was called home on Tues, December 23, 2014.Thelma was a very nice and fiendly person. She liked to have fun, and everyone who came in contact with her enjoyed being around her.Thelma would do anything for anyone. She loved to cook, bake, bowl and play cards, and ifyou asked her to do either she would gladly respond.On Tuesday, December 23, 2014 Thelma was on her way to deliver cakes that she had baked fora friend when the Lord called her home. She will be truly missed, but not forgotten.She leaves to mourn: her usband, Clarence Johnson; two sisters, Barbara Vaughn (L.T.) of St.Louis, MO and Ernestine Gage (Al) of Alton, IL; one aunt, Carrie Mae langston of Bascom, Florida;and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She held dear to her heart Juanita Johnson,Betty Hipps, Carolyn Washington and Bobby Houston.Thelma has special love for her goddaughter, April and godson, Terrance Moses.Interment:Laurel Hill Cemetery2000 N. PennsylvaniaPagedale, MO 63133 .
