ObituaryThelma Alice Redmond (Booth) was born November 30, 1925 in Chesterfield, MO. She was the eighth of thirteen children born to the late William and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Booth. With Christ at an early age, Thelma worshipped at First Baptist Church of Chesterfield. In her later years, she joined Kinloch Church of God. When Thelma first met James Elijah "Red" Redmond at a diner, he proclaimed, "I'm gonna marry you". The two were united in matrimony on April 9, 1948, and spent the rest of their lives together raising seven children. James preceded Thelma in death as did Sandra, their youngest daughter. Thelma enjoyed spending time in the company of family and friends. If you knew Thelma, she was truly excited to see you and always addressed you by name. In turn, family and friends responded with affectionate nicknames of their own. She was called Momma, Granny, Aunt Hump, Humpty, Smokey, Bumper
