Life's ReflectionsMr. Taylor Parker was born on September 11, 1929 to John Parker and Theresa Jackson in Senatobia, Mississippi. He was the older of two children born to this union. Both parents, his brother, Harold, and a brother James, all preceded him in death. Taylor professed a hope in Christ at the early age of 12, and was baptized at the Antioch Baptist Church in Senatobia, Mississippi, under the late Pastor C.H. Cathy. He moved to St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 16 and became a member of the Burning Bush Baptist Church, where he served on the Deacon Board and was over of the Male Chorus, until his health began to fail him. Taylor met and was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Ann Hayes on June 2, 1973. To this union, three children were reared. Mary Ann also preceded him in death. Taylor was educated in the Mississippi Public School System. Taylor was a soldier in the United States Army, retiring as a Sergeant First Class, after 38 years of dedicated service to our country. He also worked for, and retired from the Railroad Service and Sears Roebuck and Company. Taylor was also a member of the Price Hall Masons. The Lord called Taylor home on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. He leaves to cherish his memories: four children: Virginia Garrett, of Memphis, Tennessee, Stanley Hayes (Maria), of Oxon Hill, Maryland. Theresa Parker, and Amy Parker-Stayton (Corey), both of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren, one preceded him in death, and one great grandson. He also leaves to cherish his memories, a special friend, Iristee McKay, his nurse aid, Tanya (Tina) Grayson, and a host of other relatives and friends. Interment:J.B.
