Life ReflectionsShirley Jean f1athaway was born April 28, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the fifth of thirteen children born to f1arold and Julia Gamer. Shirley was married to James Arthur f1athaway. Together they raised 1 son and 5 daughters. She was a loving and devoted wife, mothec grandmother and great-grandmother. Shirley passed away on March 9, 2010. She was preceded in death by James f1athaway, Sr., grandson, Corey Owens, brothers, Roland, f1arry and Donald Gamer; sisters, Juanita DeBerry and Norma Jones. Shirley leaves to cherish her memory: son, James Jr., daughters, Deborah (Bob), Barbara, JoAnn, Kim and Karen; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers, f1arold (Georgia) and Thomas (Rosie); five sisters, Veda, Nancy, Evelyn, June (Lonnie) and Vera; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
