Life Reflections~~ Shirlene Rakuel Williams was born August 16, 1991 in St. Louis, Missouri to Crystal Williams (her mother preceded her in death) and Stan Ford. She was educated in the St. Louis County Schools, having attended Ritenour Elementary School and Hazelwood Middle and East Schools. Rakuel gave her life to the Lord and was united with Memorial Tabernacle Christian Life Center and was baptized by Reverend Walter L. Harper. She also had planned on getting on the Praise Dance Team at the church. Rakuel was a beautifuL kind, loving, respectful and very talented young woman who had dreams of one day becoming a pediatrician. She loved to go to church, writing poems, taking pictures, and listening to music, but her favorite hobby was drawing. Rakuel went to be with the Lord and her mother on Monday, June 2, 2008 in St. Louis City, Missouri. Rakuel leaves to cherish her memory: her father, Stan Ford and stepmother, Dana Ford; grandmother, Betty Williams and Alvin Ford (who preceded her in death); grandfathers, Willie Mood and Clarence Ford; great-grandmothers, Bertha Williams and Elnore Mood; great-grandfathers, Dnovor Mood and Hillard Green; 4 sisters, Kelly, Charley, Brianna, and Veronica; 6 brothers, Antwaan, Akeen, Craig, Brandon, Miles and Stan Jr.; 5 aunts, 13 great aunts (2 preceded her in death), 1 great-great aunt; 6 uncles, 8 great uncles; 7 great-great uncles (3 preceded her in death) and lots and lots of cousins and friends. I Do Not Go AloneIf death should beckon me with outstretched hand And whisper softly of an unknown land, I shall not be afraid to go For though the path I do not know. I take death's hand without fear, For He who safely brought me here Will also safely take me back And though in many things I lack He will not let me go alone Into the valley that's unknown. So I reach out and take death's hand And journey to the promise land. Interment:Laurel Hill Cemetery .
