Reflections Sheena Kirksey-Lewis was born to Jesse L. McKinney and Sheron R. Kirksey on August 2, 1971 in St. Louis, Missouri. She grew up in the loving home of her grandparents William L. Kirksey and Mattie L. Kirksey. She was preceded in death by both grandfathers, William L. Kirksey and Jesse L. McKinney, her grandmother, Eola McKinney, her sister, Latoya M. Kirksey and her brother, Darrion Kirksey. Sheena was educated in the University City School District and was employed as a driver for Missouri Central School Bus. She was a loving child and grew into a more loving and supportive woman. She was fun, comical and a very strong willed. She stood for what she believed in and always had time to listen and help those in need of a shoulder to lean on. Sheena's compassion and level of understanding people was beyond compare. Sheena joined Retrieve Your Life Ministries on December 20, 2009 and re-dedicated her life to Christ on August 4, 2013. On October 20, 2013 Sheena was baptized alongside her two youngest children, Zasha and Robert. Sheena briefly served as the Pastor's Aid. Sheena was a faithful servant in the Usher Ministry and led the RYLM Praise Dancers until she was physically unable. Sheena assisted in the Evangelism Ministry as well. On Friday, May 2, 2014, God called Sheena home. She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Sheron R. Kirksey; her father, Jesse L. McKinney; five children, Shamyia A. Watts, Ernest L. Harris, .Jr., Antrirrill P.O. Johnson, .Jr.. Zasha E. Lewis and Robert E. Lewis, Jr.; one grandson, Elijah F.L. Harris; her grandmother, Mattie L. Kirksey; six brothers, McLarince Kirksey, Fahtehaw L. Kirksey, William L. Doyle, Thuberren E. Kirksey, Anthony Jackson and Jessie McKinney, Jr.; six sisters, Yolando D. Kirksey-Small, Sheane T. Kirksey-Stokes, Mattanika D. Kirksey, Saida Smart, Ariel McKinney and Kenya Miller-Bayless; a host of other relatives and friends. As an adult, God gave Sheena two very special parental figures, Morna (Rhonda) and Pops (William) Ming. Interment: Laurel Hill Cemetery 2000 North Pennsylvania St. Louis, MO 63133 .
