Life Reflection
Sharron R. White was born to Samuel and Dorothy Clark on July 20, 1956 in Henderson Kentucky. Once the family moved to St. Louis, she attended and graduated from the Kirkwood School District. She went further to get her Associated Degree from Meramec Community College in Kirkwood and Sanford Brown where she received her AA in Medical Billing and Coding.
The family attended Harrison Avenue Missionary Baptist Church where she was baptized under the leadership of Rev. C. L. Wells and remained a faithful member. Growing up she was a regular member of Sunday School, BTU and Vacation Bible School. She was a member of the Youth and then Senior Choir. Her love of music let her to become the Music Director until her health kept her from it.
Melvin Jerome fell in love with this beautiful woman and made her his wife on December 10, 1977 and they were united at Harrison Ave. Missionary Baptist Church. That union produced his only spoiled daughter Tiffany and a son Justin. In February 1995 they took on the role of raising DeAnthony at the request of their niece Nicole White.
Sharron was employed by Absorbent Cotton Company, Brown Shoe Company, Performance Bracing and Orthotics, St. Louis Sports Medicine and Med Resources.
Sharron LOVED her CHURCH her FAMILY and their family gatherings where her Macaroni and Cheese and Dressing were highly requested. Everyone who knew her was aware of her love for the holidays, especially Christmas. On top of celebrating Jesus' Birthday, she decorated every room of her house with trees and angels and lit up her yard with seasonal fighting. She also did not go a year without filling her yard with her favorite flowers. One of her favorite things to do was to be in her hot tub in the back yard.
Sharron was preceded in death by her father Samuel Clark; sister Rose Mary Clark; brother Samuel Clark Jr.; son DeAnthony M. White; sister-in-love Bobbie Larry (George Sr.); brother-in-love Ollie White (Mattie Mae). She is dearly missed by her mother Dorothy M. Clark; husband Melvin White; sister-in-Love Lucille Thompson (Bernard); daughter Tiffany (Anthony); son Justin (Veronica); sister Gloria D. Nickerson-Jones (Mike) son (Leon); sister Sandra Clark-Crenshaw (sons Charles (Rashelle)); Ryan (Crystal); grandchildren Anthony Jr., Trenay, Tiarra and Jaece; nephews, nieces, cousins, HAMBC church members and a host of friends many of whom she considered family.
