S.D. Tidwell

ObituaryS.D. (Esther) Tidwell was born on April 16, 1921 in Caruthersville, Missouri to Eula McDougald and James Cole. Both parents preceded her in death. Esther married James C. Tidwell, Sr. on April 16, 1939. He also preceded her in death. They had 7 children: Eula (deceased), Susie (Albert), James Jr. (Dorothy), Faye (John), Berrvyl (Sheila), Lloyd (Barbara) and Talmadge Kiwi (Delilah). She confessed faith and hope in Christ at a very early age. She was a devout and devoted member of Olive Chapel A.M.E. Church in Kirkwood, Missouri, Reverend Karen Anderson, Pastor. Esther also leaves to cherish her memory: 2 sisters, Jean Bums, Verneice Butler and a sister-in-law, Earlie Mae Wells; She had 28 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, 15 great- great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of other family and special friends. Interment -Laurel Hill CemeterySt. Louis, MO 63133 .
