Life Reflection
Roosevelt "BO" Barry , was born April 30, 1961 and raised in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Paul and Ora Barry.
Roosevelt always attended Douglas Memorial COGIC and gave his life to Christ under the leadership of Elder Larry Addison. He was educated in the Kirkwood School District and graduated with honors from Kirkwood High in 1979. After graduation, Bo played football for a short period of time, prior to issues with his health. He was a family man and protector. He did not play when it came to his family and their safety. Although he didn't have children of his own, he helped in raising many of his nieces and nephews coming up through the years.
Roosevelt was a sharp dresser. For he loved to dress, whenever he was stepping out. In his family he was the Converse man of the world, especially the old styled ones.
Roosevelt was such a joyous and mannereable young man. He would always walk in the room and say, "Hello beautiful". We will truly miss that. He was encouraging to his siblings, nieces, and nephews to go far in life. No matter what you did, he would support you. He held a special place in his heart for his mom, clad, and second mama, Annette. Roosevelt was close to, and had love for all of his cousins, but he shared a special bond with his cousin/ twin, Barbara. You didn't see one without the other.
His brother, Paul Barry II, preceded him in death. And he leaves to mourn his passing, his loving mom and dad, Ora and Paul; five sisters, Corliss, (Andrew) of New Jersey, Lora, Annette, Angela, and Paula, all of Missouri; four brothers, Nathaniel of Kentucky, William, (Alita), Timothy and Calvin all of Missouri; Nineteen nieces and nephews, Cordate, P.J. III, Delores, Lanette, Paulette, Cinnamon, Herman, M.C., Rodney, Keith, Candice, Crystal, Chyncia, Travia, Christopher, Timothy II, Naesha, Davion, Courtney and Cherrel; one uncle, Floyd (Papa) Shields, (Theresa); two aunts, Jessie Shields, and Codella Shields; and a host of Great Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and Family.
