ObituaryHomegoing of Ronald Allen James "Dukus"Ronald Allen James was born to the late Jesse James, Sr. and Alice Jackson James on May 14, 1946 in Festus, Missouri. He graduated from Douglass Grade School and attended Festus High School. Ronnie, as he preferred to be called, was also called Dukus in his earlier years. He joined the Job Corp in 1964, majoring in Mechanics. He met his wife, Evelyn Zimmerman of DeSoto, MO in 1963. They married in June of 1969. Ronnie was employed for 30 years at the Chrysler Truck Plant, retiring in 2002. He accepted the Lord in 1986 and became an active member of the New Covenant Full Gospel Church, under the leadership of Elder Roy McGown. Brother James later became the Church Treasurer, an office he held diligently and faithfully until his death. He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn; one son, Richard (Charlene); three grandchildren, Charity, Chasity and Richard II, who loves and will miss their Paw Paw very much. They will miss eating out with their Paw Paw. Richard II (big' boy) will miss going to the Harley Davidson Shop and working on his 1946 Plymouth. Ronnie has thirteen siblings. One sister, Patricia Patton, preceded him in death. He leaves Jesse Jr. (Doris), Charles Sr. (Rose), Earl (Sue), Cecil (Sandy), Gene (Jessica), Thelma, Mary, Marva, Faye, Janet, Madalin, Sandra and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. .
