Rodessa Norful

Mother Rodessa Norful was the last child born to Norphlett and Mary Goodwin in Smockover, Arkansas on November 30, 1935. Rodessa attended Smackover High School.She met Christ at an early age and united with Sweet Home Baptist Church in Smackover, Arkansas as a faithfu member.She met and married Evin Jenkins Norful, Sr. on October 23, 1953. To this union seven wonderful children were born. Later in the fifties, Rodessa and her husband move3d to St. Louis, Missouri and attnded First Baptist Church of Maplewood, under the leadership of Rev. Donald Hunter. She was a proud and faithful member of The Mother's Board at Monumental Baptist Church, until her death.She was employed at Bussman Fuse Company for 16 years then went into the health care profession where she worked for 30 years. She was a pillar in the community and a friend to all who came in contact with her. She always had a smile on her face fore everyone. She was well respected and respected everyone.God call Mother Norful, one of her angels, home to receive her reward on Thusday, November 11, 2010. Her mother, father, thirteen siblings and her beloved husband proceded her in death.She leaves behind: one sister, Alice Goodwin of Michigan; four daughters, Ovelis (Albert) Hawkins, patricia (Oshwald) Coleman, Connie (Larry, Sr.) McCall, and Kiberly Norful; three sons, James (Kathy) Norful, Ervin (Valeria) Norful, and Steve Norful; grandchildren, Tiffany, Ebony, James Jr., Jasmyn, Natasha, Ocshuwa, Albert Jr., Jamecia, Larry Jr., Bobby, Alesia and Morgan; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Kayla, Anauary, Nataliya, Air, Logan, London, Eric Jr., Kayla and Madison; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.ENTERMENT:J.B.
