Life Reflections Robert Lee Luckett was born June 22, 1936 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to proud parents Joe and Violar Luckett. Robert's formal education began in Clarksdale, Mississippi up to high school,finishing his secretary education at Vashon High School in St. Louis, Missouri. Robert was one of the first young African American men selected to be a modelfor Famous Barr Department Store in St. Louis, Missouri. Robert served in the States Army during the Korean War and was honored as aSharp Shooter. In St. Louis Robert fellowshipped at Kingsway Missionary Baptist Church withPastor Allen Winbush presiding. Robert received Jesus Christ as his personal Saviorin his early adult years. Robert received his college degrees in the late seventies and eighties receivingand including his PhD in Christin Counseling. Robert worked with pastors in theirministries in St. Louis City and St. Louis County. He along with other ministers getting their degrees at Lael University and Christian International University inSt. Louis County. Robert was employed by and retired from The Boeing Companyin St. Louis, Missouri. Robert served as Sunday school teacher, he lead weekly Bible classes as teacher,sang in the choir, and worked in ministry and Christian counseling. Robert enjoyed traveling, teaching, reading, counseling, singing, music and finedining. Robert was united in marriage in St. Louis, Missouri to Theresa Janet Stewart. This union was blessed with one son Christopher Dean Luckett who preceded Robertin death. His parents, brother Joe R. Luckett, sisters Lucille Murphy and CatherineNelson also preceded Robert in death. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Janet Luckett; four grandchildren, Tiara Marie Luckett, Christopher Michael Luckett, Lyric Michelle Luckett and Zion Alexander Luckett; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Robert gave his life to Jesus. He was a Faithful Servant and is now resting in the Arms of Jesus. To God Be The Glory For All The Things He Has Done!Interment:J.B.
