ObituaryRichard William Lightfoot was born on December 23, 1939. Both of his parents preceded him in death. He was one of seven children, two sisters preceded him in death. Richard grew up inKirkwood, Missouri and attended Turner School.Richard joined the Army on April 11, 1961 from which he received and honorable discharge. Whenhe came home he went to work at the County Stone Company where he was employed for many years.Richard received very good care from his loving wife, Anitha Lightfoot. He departed this life onThursday, November 9, 2018 at 7:18am at J.C. Cochran Veterans Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Anitha Lightfoot; four sisters, Shirley Fantroy, Janet(Nathaniel) Brown, Marion (Robert) Williams, and Nancy Shireman; two brothers, Ricky (Sharon)Shepperd and Eric Shepperd; five children, Anita (Calvin), Rodney Brown, Cleaver Taylor, Shelia and Cheryl.
