Life Reflections 1929-2008 Earl Ellis Butler, Sr., was born on July 16, 1929 to the union of Mollie and Daniel Butler in St. Louis, MO. Earl was the youngest of nine children. Both of his parents and six of his siblings preceded him in death (Hosea, William, Harvey, Samuel, Matthew, and Wardella). Earl was united in holy matrimony with Dorothy Tolson on December 25, 1956.
