Obituary Mrs. Priscilla Cole was born November 13, 1926 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to the union of Samuel and Mary Davis Manuel, both of whom were part African American and Greek Native American. She was the eighth of ten children. At the age of two, due to her mother's death, she and some of her siblings were placed in the Deaf and Blind Orphan Home (DB&Q) for coloreds in Tatf, Oklahoma. Her adoptions by the DB&Q nurse and her husband, Mamie and Otis Marina, provided a loving and lasting family unit until their deaths. She cared for Mamie Marine until her death in 1984. At all times, however, she remained close and in contact with her biological siblings. After graduating from Langston University at age 20, she briefly live in Los Angeles, Califomia and married Woodrow Woods. Priscilla Diana Cole was bom to this union, After the marriage ended, Priscilla relocated to St. Louis, Missouri where her sister, Katie, and her husband, Joe Thames, resided. She then met and married Joe's first cousin, Herbert Cole, Sr. To this union Herbert, Jr. and Marylynn were born. Priscilla She leaves to cherish Herbert Cole, Sr., her husband of 58 years; daughter, Diana (Donald) Brown of Arlington, Texas; son, Herbert E. Cole, Jr. and daughter, Marylynn (George) Sims; dear sister, Yvonne Sanders of Louisville, Kentucky; dear sister-in-law, Joan (Thomas) Mason of Cleveland, Ohio; grandchildren, Chameka Ezell. and Jessieca Cole of Arlington, Texas; Tina Grimes, Terry Cole of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Karlynnta; Omolola; and Omotayo Oredugba; great-grandchildren, Jovius Taylor, Jr.; and Krista Thomas of Arlington, Texas; Cameron Cole of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Mya and Mason Grimes and DaKorrion Oredugba; godson, Paul Wortham; fairy goddaughter, Olayinka Cooper; aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to numerous others. Although she had a spicy spirit, she will always be remembered for the love and kindness that she extended to anyone and everyone. .
