Celebrating a Life Phillip Fairfax, Jr. was born on July 31, 1932 in St. Louis, MO to the latePhillip and Tessie Fairfax. He was the youngest of 5 children born to thisunion. In early 1950's Phillip joined the United States Army and served his country in the Korean war. After serving his country, he became a construction laborer of local 53.Phillip worked from 1956 until his retirement in 1989. Phillip was truly a fisherman at heart. He departed this life on July 2, 2015. One son, Phillip Fairfax, III, 1 grandson, Jerome Dorvan Harrold, two sisters, Mary Walker and Jeanette Griffin; one brother, Reubon Fairfax, Sr. preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters, Shirlitta Taylor and Rochelle(Ronald) Harrold; three grandchildren, Corrye (Chad) Williams, Eric (Christine)Harrold, and Kandis Taylor (Maurice her fiance); 4 great-grandchildren, Tyliah, Lauren, Chasidy Williams and Adisyn Taylor; 1 sister, Muriel Miller; 1 sister-in-law, Louise Fairfax; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. .
