Life Reflection Peggy Ann (Royal) Carroll was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 8, 1948to the late Reverend Turner and Ophelia Royal. Peggy attended J. Milton Turner Elementary School and Nipher Junior Middie School.She graduated from Kirkwood Senior High School and attended Forest Park Community College. Peggy confessed a hope in Christ at a young age and was baptized under the leadershipof Rev. A. G. Drane, pastor of the Kirkwood Church of God. In 1994, she became a member of the New Cote Brilliant Church of God, under the leadership of Pastors Carol and Miki Merritt. She and her brother, Turner, often led theWednesday night Bible Study devotion. Peggy served on the usher board until, sadly, her neuropathy forced her to give that up. Peggy worked many jobs throughout her life, including many years with the Missouri Pacific Railroad, owning her own daycare center, owning and running thrift stores with her sister, Pat, and eventually retiring from her job as an investigator for the Commission on Human Rights for the State of Missouri. Her family was her pride and joy. She couldn't get enough of her grandkids. She cherished being a mother and loved being a grandmother. At any celebration, her laughter, her jokes, and her many stories will forever be cherished.Her comical personality was influenced by her late aunts; Claudette Singleton and Pearl Brooks.There was never a dull moment when "Peggy was in the house." Peggy departed this life on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, shortly after her sister anointed her and prayed Po God for pain miler or to call her home. A few minutes later, she waswith the Lord. * Her husband and parents preceded her in death. Peggy leaves to cherish her memories: Three children Gera Robyn Carron, Gerald Carroll,and Dorain (Amber) Brown. Seven grandchildren- Amber, Tyrone, Gerald, Katarina, Logan,Lily and Zander. One sister, Patricia Conley; Two brothers, Turner Royal, and Larry Wilkerson.One Uncle, Percy Singleton, Sr.; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws, friendsand New Cote Brillante Family.
