Life's ReflectionPatrick Lee Tompkins was born November 15, 1963, to the union of W.T. Tompkins and Mary Alice Tompkins both of whom preceded him in death. Patrick was educated in the University City Public School District. He found a love in the serving business, where he catered, bartended, and hosted many social events to the high elites. He was a hard and dedicate-ed worker, even returning back to the University City School District to work for the past 8 years. He was united in marriage to Gwendolyn Rodgers, whom he loved dearly, on July 2, 2006. Patrick was a gentleman and was very charismatic, he enjoyed life to it's fullest. He was very loving and caring, he cared about everything and everyone. he always kept a smile on his face and would keep you laughing on a good or bad day. Patrick had a very distinctive laugh and you had no choice but to join in with him. Patrick was about his business and was very responsible, if you needed him he was there. On Friday, June 2, 2017 he gained his wings. Patrick leaves behind to cherish many memories: His wife, Gwendolyn Tompkins; three step-children, Ceirra, Clint and Lamont; one daughter, Shatira Hart; one grand-daughter, Tyshira Hart; four loving brothers, W.T. Tompkins, James Tompkins, Demetrius Grady and Mark Tompkins; one loving devoted sister, Felicia Tompkins-Swapshire; one brother-in-law, Carl Swapshire step-mother, Joyce Hamlin; two step-brothers, Deaundre and Darryl; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
