Simms and Wardie W. Simms inRobertson, MO. She was the youngest of six. Both parents, one brother (Larry Simms), one sister (Saundress Manning), one daughter (Helen Knox)and one nephew (Samuel ain) preceded her in death. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Frist Missionary Baptist Church of Robertson. As a child she enjoyed playing sports such as softball, and volleyball. she later graduated from BerkeleySenior High in 1977. A year later she gave birth to her first born (Helena). As an adult Patricia dedicated her life to her family, so much so that she insisted on the total care of bothof her parents when they became ill. She raised seven children, whom she both adored and protected. Patricia was a very hard worker at Division of Family Support for over eighteen years. She rededicated her life in 2007 at New Mt. Zion (COGIC). Although she endured many obstacles she re-mained faithful and continued to trust in the Lord. Patty found great joy in cooking, creating baskets, and planning activities for her grandchildren. She alsoenjoyed completing puzzles during her spare time. She would open her home to anyone in need, and genuinelypray for others in their time of need. On April 8, 2015 she went home to be with Jesus. She leaves to cherish her memory: two brothers, George Simms and Dennis Simms; one sister, Lorraine Cain;three sons, Eddie Know, Orlando Knox (Tanya), and Timothy Simms; three daughters, Nichelle Knox (Daryl), Timisha Simms and Tina Simms; grandchildren, Oreonya, Travion, Orlando, Jr., Darrion, DaMya, Ke'Ron, Dalena,and A'Jay; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.Interment -St. Peters CemeterySt. Louis, MO 63121 .
