Life Reflections Etta Dora Bell was born to loving parents, Queen Isabella and Henry Hardy, on February 5, 1942 in Egypt, Mississippi. She was the sixth of Thirteen children produced from that union. She spent her form- ative years in Aberdeen, Mississippi where she graduated from Shivers High School. Etta, an adventurous and independent soul, left Mississippi at the age of eighteen and relocated to Saint Louis, Missouri. Etta's transition to her new home was made easier by her older siblings already residing here. As she settled into her new life she also welcomed her firstborn son, Lee. She also met and married the love of her life, Ronald Bell, Sr. Their union produced two additional sons, Ronald, Jr. and Juan, Etta and Ronald were fortunate to raise their sons surrounded by the love of immediate and extended family. Etta was not only a wife and mother, but she was also a small business owner and community advocate. She continued her formal education, ultimately earing a degree in Cosmetology. Her drive and entrepreneurial spirit led her to open a beauty salon. Etta's Beauty Salon was a success for many years as beauty was her passion and business. Etta was raised in faith and was a true woman of God. She immersed herself in formal and informal educational settings that increased her knowledge of the gospel. It also improved her capacity to lead God's people. Her commitment to Christ led her to answer the call to the ministry. After years of ministry, she became the Pastor of Church of God Community Worship Center. She then went on to Pastor New Beginnings Church of God and has now been leading First Church of God - Richmond Heights for over 10 years. Etta lived a full life and was loved by many. She placed her faith and trust in the Father and whom she has now returned.
