Pamela Karen Franks

March 20, 1952 — December 16, 2016

Life ReflectionsPamela Karen Franks (known as "Pam") was born on March 2011952. She was the eleventh child born to the late William and Tillie Booth. Her parents and eight siblings preceded her in death; seven brothers, Bill (William), Jingles (James), Robert, Luther, Lester, Dale Carl; and one sister; Janice. Pam was also preceded in death by one niece, Tillie (Monny) and one nephew, Dale. In Pam's early years, she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Gary Franks in 1972. To this union there were no children. Pam accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized by Rev. Dorsey at Union Baptist Church of Chesterfield. Pam became an usher and served until prevented by her illness. Pam was educated at Orville School in Chesterfield, was a longtime resident of Webster Groves and later in life moved to St. Louis City at Lafayette Elderly Apartments where she resided up to her passing. Pam was the life of the party. She loved cars and guitars, and especially her oldie music, and loved to dance. One thing about Pam -if she had your phone number you would get a call from her time to time. She was very loving, neat and was loved by many who knew her. Pam was called to Glory on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 10:54 a.m. at St. Louis University Hospital at the age of 64. She leaves to cherish her legacy, and loving memories: a special friend Judy Moss; four sisters Marion Johnson, Florence Peal, Doreen Harris and Patty Booth (Kenny); one aunt - Connie Frazier; three sisters-in-law Lauretta Booth, Betty Booth, Debbie Harvey; one special niece Cynthia Wiley; five God-Children Nathan Booth, Cory and Tory Cooper, Frances Chiffon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, relatives and friends.
