Life ReflectionsNorma Jean Cutts Traylor was born August 30, 1954 to the union of Lawrence, Sr. and Melva Jean Cutts in St. Louis, Missouri. Norma received her education at Kirkwood I1igh School, where she graduated in 1973. Norma had a strong love and respect for God and respected the religious beliefs of others. Norma answered to many names: Norma J, and Momma Jean. Norma was employed at Chrysler for 31 years. After years of working on the assembly line, she became an inspector and remained an inspector until she retired on November 20, 2008. Norma was a very involved and active member of UAW local 110, Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUM) and Coalition of Black Trade Unionist (CBTU). Norma married James R. Thornhill, Sr. where three children were born: Stacey, James, and Georginna. They divorced, but remained friends until James died in 2007. On February 21, 1997, she married Willie Traylor, whom she loved and cherished. Norma departed her life on January 5, 2010. Norma leaves to cherish: her husband, Willie Traylor; parents, Lawrence and Melva Jean Cutts; three children, Stacey Turley, James (Candice) Muhammad, and Georginna Thornhill; two step children, Elanique (Andrew) Blue and Natasha Traylor; three sisters, Sheila Cutts (John), Lisa (Keith) Cutts Lee, and Kellie Cutts; five brothers, Michael Cutts, David (Bonnie) Cutts, Lawrence (Jackie) Cutts, Jr., James (Nina) Cutts, and Timothy Cutts; six grandchildren, Sterling, Taylor, Tristen, AbduL Ahmad and Amir; six step grandchildren, Kristen, Mariah, Demonte, Elijah, Asia and Zariah. She also leaves a host of uncles, aunts, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
