Life ReflectionsNorma Ruth was born April 29, 1936 in Saint Louis, Missouri to the union of Harold George Garner and Julia Lee Holloway.She was educated in the Ritenour School District, attended Elmwood Firtst Baptist Church as a child and adult. She later daughters, Janice and Denise, 5 sons, Edward Jr., Stanley, Charles (Chuck), David and Kevin.She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Edward Jones, Sr. on June 21, 1952. To this union seven children were born, two daughters, Janice and Denise, 5 sons, Edward Jr., Stanley, Charles (Chuck), David and Kevin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Jones, Sr. and second daughter, Denise Jones Thorpe, sister, Juanita DeBerry and brothers, Harry Gamer, Roland Garner, Sr.Norma Ruth Jones loved life and her family. She cared for her children and grandchildren and never complained. Wherever you saw Norma, you saw Chuck. When Norma's daughter passed, she took on the task of caring for her grandchildren, even though she had Chuck to care forShe never turned down anyone. When her mother passed, she helped take care of the younger siblings. If other members of the family were in need, she assisted. She was a very motherly person. Whatever the Creator called upon her to do, no matter what, through all the trials and tribulations, she did not complain. She leaves to cherish her memory: 3 brothers, Harold (Georgia) Gamer, Donald Garner, and Thomas Gamer (Rose); 6 sisters, Shirley Hathaway, Velda Westfall, Nancy Gordon, Evelyn Campbell, Jane Maclin (Lonnie) and Vera Garner; sixteen grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one greatgreat-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving and devoted friends.
