Life Reflections Naziel Mondy Vaughn was the tenth child born to Thomas and Lorena Mondy of Columbia, Mississippi. Her parents, husband, siblings and two great-grandchildren preceded her in death. Naziel attended Globe Academy High School in Columbia, Mississippi, and was said to have been one of the leading players on the girls basketball team. She accepted Christ at an early age at the Rose Hill Baptist Church. Naziel later moved to St. Louis, NO where she met and married David Vaughn, Sr. From this marriage two sons were born, David Jr. and Louis T. (AKA) L.T. Naziel united with the MT. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend J.E. Fiddmont. She was a very active and devoted member of the Senior and Vocal Choir. After the passing of Reverend fiddrnont, she was under the leadership of Reverend Oliver K. Patter-son. She loved to attend Church, but as her health began to fail, she was no longer able to attend. Naziel loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed having friends over to talk, eat and have a good time. Naziel is survived by two sons David Vaughn, Jr. and Louis "L.T." (Barbara) Vaughn. Four grand-daughters, Arlene Ford (Aaron), Marilyn Vaughn, Lisa Jarvis and Laticia Collins. Two grandsons, David Vaughn HI (Tish) and Donald flatten. Ten great-grandchil-f dren and five great-great-grands. A host of nieces, nephews and friends. Interment: J.B. National Cemetery2600 Sheridan AvenueSt. Louis, MO 63126 .
