He departed this life onMarch 11, 2016 in St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his twin sisters; Brenda and Linda, and by four brothers;Otis, Jesse James, Ed Lee Jefferson and Thomas Parker.Michael was raised up in Richmond Heights, MO. He attended Maplewood-Richmond Heights School District. As he got older he pursued a career in concrete construction as a Union Iron Worker, Local 396. He worked for his brother, Ed Lee inconcrete construction where he completed his apprenticeship and he later became a worker for Vee-Jay Concrete.Michael was a well-known, likable guy who lived his life freely and the way he wanted to. For example; His great nieces(Errica Jones), had to say, "If you knew Mike, you knew he had the biggest and most generous heart, always willing to help whetherit was cars, construction, or handyman duties, he was a jack of all trades and always knew something or someone to help."Michael was joined in holy matrimony to Katy Gilliam, and to this union Quintin L. Parker was born.Michael gave his life to God and was a devoted person to Douglas Memorial C.O.G.I.C. where he gave a lot of time. Michaelcaptured many hearts and made many friends in this congregation.He leaves behind: two sons, Quintin L. Parker and Anthony Banks; three grandkids, Von Parker, Azia Parker and Zion Parker;one sister, Celestine Fowler-Parker; two brothers, Nathan Parker and John Parker; also a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and godkids.Interment:Memorial Park Crematory5200 Lucas Hunt RoadSt. Louis, MO 63121 .
