Life ReflectionsMary Ann Allen was born November 11, 1956 to the late John, Sr. and Lee Bertha Moses. 1 brotherand 2 sisters also preceded her in death.Mary Ann attended school in the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District. She attended worshipservices at First Baptist Church of Maplewood, where she accepted Christ at an early age.Her first place of employment was the Lotus Room Restaurant, where she found her love for cooking.For a short time, she was married to Mr. Gregory Allen of Columbia, Mississippi.Mary Ann, or "Ain" as her family called her, lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed cooking, one would always find a pot of beans, neckbones and cornbread on her stove. She loved music and dancing, eventrying to learn the latest dance moves. Her love of R Kelly (Rra Kelly as she called him) was unmatchable.She knew all of his songs, she would cry then end up in a dance each time she listened to them. Not muchif a tv person but Mary Ann could always watch her favorite movie. The Color Purple, over and over again.Mary's love for her family and their love for her is indisputable. It is this love that molded her into thecharismatic woman that will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.Mary Ann leaves to mourn her passing: 1 daughter Shana Allen; 2 sisters, Linda Skinner and MarqueritePruitt (Hardie); 2 brothers, Terrence Moses (Kim) and Michael Moses; 1 uncle, Roderick Mondaine; 2 aunts,Georgia Smith and Paula Mondaine; 1 God-daughter, Jennifer Hitchens; as well as a host of nieces,nephews, cousins and friends. .
