ObituaryMarva Jean Whipple Born: June 9, 1937 in St. Louis County, Missouri; thedaughter of William and Norma Rogers.Marva married Robert Whipple on July 14, 1956 in WebsterGroves, Missouri.Marva was employed as a Reservationist for Sheraton Hotels(at the Mansion House) in St. Louis, Missouri for many years.She later obtained a C.D.L. license and drove school busesin St. Louis, MO and Illinois.Marva became a member of the Marvelous Marva's Club asNumber 848. The club met every two years in many cities,as well as Disney Land and on cruise ships.Marva sang in many choirs at churches in St. Louis, as wellas Beloit, Wisconsin and Rockford, Illinois and at BeloitCollege in Wisconsin. She also was a member of the IllinoisCarolers, who sang at various venues in Northern Illinois.Wonderful memories of her will be cherished by her lovinghusband, Robert; three children, Judith English, WilliamWhipple and Patrice Whipple; three grandchildren, WesleyEnglish, Sterlin Vaughns and Sara English; one great-grand-son, Michel Vaughns and two sons-in-law, Herman Englishand Allan Vaughns; one niece and three nephews, manyother loving Rogers and Shepard families and an abundanceof other relatives and friends.Interment:J.B.
