Marshall Bryant Collins

Life Reflections Marshall Bryant Collins was born June 15, 1930. He was the 3rd child born from the union of Irma and Osborne Collins, Sr., who preceded him in death as well as two brothers, William (Bill) and Osborne, Jr. His wife Jeanette and son Marshall, Jr., also preceded him in in death. At an early age Marshall confessed his faith and maintained a strong belief in God. He attended school in St. Louis, MO and graduated from Sumner High School. Marshall served in the Army. He was a member of he 4/9th Social Club. Marshall retired from General Motors. He loved to entertain, through the years Marshall and Jeanette had numerous elaborate affairs in their home. They traveled throughout the country, to many islands and went on several cruises. Marshall departed this life on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 12:45 a.m. at home. He leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Sharon Payne; 4 grandchildren, Andre, Jabaar, TaKeena, and Letitia; 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson; 2 brothers Donald (Margie) and Gaylord; 1 sister, Joyce David); Nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Our special thanks to Khu Rah, Mark, Lacey, Rocky and John, they really stepped up to the plate by helping Marshall (Pops) during his time of need. Interment: J.B.
