Mark E. Sanders

Mark Edward Sanders was born January 7, 1952 in St Louis, MO to Edward and Lonnie Sanders. He was the younger of two children. He departed this life January 28, 2026 @ 7:45 PM with family by his side. His mother, father, and brother have preceded him in death.

Mark was educated in the Maplewood -Richmond Heights School District. He also attended Rankin Technical School for Automotive Mechanics. He attended Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Mark married Katie in 2022. To this union he acquired 1 daughter, Joy Hill, and a grandson, Brian Brown.

He worked for his mother and father at Sanders Hauling for over 45 years.

Mark leaves to mourn his passing: Katie Sanders, devoted long time friend and wife; one son, Christopher Sanders; one daughter Marquetta Catlin (Dwayne Jones Jr), one nephew Rodney Sanders; three aunts, Effie Robert, Joyce McDonald, and Clara Roberts; one Uncle, Robert Sanders; ten grandchildren, Chrishea, Taneisha, Christopher Jr, Tameya, Marquis, Teron, Dwayne Jones lll, Ma’rya Jones, Markeese Jones; three great grandchildren, Zaire Fowler, Tristan Watkins, Cailey Dixson; and a host of cousins and friends.
