ReflectionsMs. Marjoreese E. Anderson - Scott went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the age of 64. Ms. Scott was born April 12, 1946 in St. Louis, MO to the late Lorena Anderson and William Phillips. She attended McKinley High school. She joined church and was born again at the age of 12 in the year 1957; baptized in the Mississippi River under the guidance and leadership of the late Rev. Sherman Glover, Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, St. Louis, MO. She sang in the Junior Choir, the Intermediate Choir and the Young Adult Choir and with the gospel group known as "The Striving Five" of Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church. She also sang with the local gospel quartette "Queens of Glory" of St. Louis, Missouri. She loved to sing gospel and her beautiful voice would sing until the heavens received it. Ner professions were as a radiologist and home health care worker. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother and a member of the Eastern Star. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to play practical jokes. tIer loving husband, Leon Scott and both parents, grandparents, aunt and uncle who preceded her in death. She leaves behind an aunt, Annie Mae Canada; four sons, John Nose'a, Carlos, Ventress, and Shawn; two sisters, Angela and April; two brothers, Demetrius and Gregory; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
