Life Reflection Malachi Xavier Maclin was born December 29, 2000, in St. Louis, MO to Lonnie and Cherie. He was a happy and well-loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, godson, cousin, team-mateand friend. 26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourself with Christ. (Galatians 3:26-27) Malachi dedicated his life to Jesus Christ and was baptized as a child on September 23, 2012,at Kingdom Life Christian Ministries in Belleville, IL. Malachi rededicated his life and was baptized again on December 19, 2019, at Christ Kingdom Church in Florissant, MO. Heremained a member of this church until his passing. Malachi graduated from Hazelwood Central in 2019. He was well known in the baseball circuitas an excellent athlete. He participated in varsity level baseball, earning the coveted SilverSlugger Award during his freshman year. he was also a member of many summer baseball teams, such as The Prospects, The Sting, and The Warriors. he had plans to return to school to continuehis academic and athletic careers. For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. (Psalm 37:28) Malachi was known to be pleasant, mannerable, and a little goofy. He was given the nickname, "Go Faithful", as he was always one to be depended upon at church. He was also a faithfulemployee as a delivery driver for Stone Wheel, Inc. Other affectionate nicknames include "Top Cat""Malacry", and "G.D." for The Garbage Disposal because of his love for ALL foods! Malachi had an easy-going personality. He loved being with his family and his friends. He enjoyed being silly and making others laugh. He loved all of his pets and took very good care of them. Malachi cherished his family. He enjoyed being a brother and the big cousin. Its grandfather, Lonnie Maclin, Jr. Preceded him in death. "Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation conies from Him.Psalm 62:1 Malachi entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 3, 2021. Left to cherish his memories are his parents;his sister, Alexis; brother, Mekhi; his paternal grandmother, June Maclin; his maternal grandmother,Aritha Stanley-Adams; his maternal grandfather, Dennis (Karen) Jethroe, Sr.; Aunts and Uncles, BrianMaclin, Dennis (Takisha) Jethroe II, Danielle (Terry) Butler, and Katrina Olden; Godparents, Tony andAkberet Farr; his great-aunts and great uncles, and numerous cousins, other family and friends.
