Lyndia moved to St. Louis, Missouriin 1953. She attended Visitation Catholic School where she was baptized and confirmed.She later attended Sumner High School and Harris Stowe College.Lyndia's first husband, James Patterson, preceded her in death, and she later marriedOdingi Baswatoo. Lyndia later went back to school and received her nursing certificatewhere she worked as a nurse at Koch Hospital and Visiting Nurses Association.Lyndia was very loving and proud of her three daughters Cynthia, Rita and Rona, and adored her grandchildren.God called her home on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. She leaves to cherish her memory:her mother, Minnie; three daughters, Cynthia(Terrance), Rita and Rona; 3 grandchildren,Alfie (Desire'), Darrielle and Bryanna; one great-grandchild, Cassidy; 2 brothers, Michaeland James (Patrick deceased); 6 sisters, Helen (Steve), Wilma (Larry), Connie, Janet,Betsey and Cheryl; one uncle, Fred; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Disposition:Memorial Park Crematory220 Lucas Hunt RoadSt. Louis, MO 63121 .
