Lula Mae Cutts was born April 5, 1925 St. Louis, Missouri to the union of George Anderson and Willie Mae Cutts; both preceded her in death. She was the seventh of thirteen children of whicb ,!ine preceded her in death. She was the "big sister" of the Cutts family.Lula attended James Miltonl'urnerSchool in Meacham Park (Kirkwood) through eighth grade graduation, but had to quit school to help at home. Later as an adult, she finished her education, advancing fron housekeeper and cook, to USPS mail carrier, to accountant at Brown Shoe Company fron where she retired.Lula and Clyde G. Smith (deceased) were married and to this union two children were born: Mary and Clyde, Jr. She later married Rollo Johnson (deceased) and to this union were born four children: Rollo, Jr., Sandra, Diane and William. Her children Clyde, Jr., Sandra and Diane preceded her in death. After retiring she moved to a retirement community in Alamogordo, New Mexico where she met and married William Specks (deceased).Lula received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a early age while attending the Church of God. She loved singing in the choir and attending Bible Study. She attended church services at Brent-Wood Nursing Center where she has resided the past five years. Prior to that she had enjoyed gospel music, writing poetry, playing the organ, and traveling. She will be remembered for her humorous personality and her delicious cooking.Lula was called from this life on September 10, 2013 after a brief illness. She leaves to cherish loving memories three children: Mary Thompson, Rollo (Brenda) Johnmson, Jr., William Johnson (New York); three brothers: Lawrence (Melva) Cutts, Raymond (Beryl) Cutts, and Fred Cutts; 13 grandchildren: Michelle (Tommie) Clark, Keith (JaTanya) Thompson, Alexandria Hunter, Tracy Clifford; Kenneth, Jeffrey, Stephanie and Rusty Watts; Maquita County (New Mexico); Bonnie and Lisa Smith (Florida), Michael (Candace) Johnson (Nevada), Ephrain Dozier (Nevada); 24 great-grandchildren; Beatrice Cutts; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.We will miss you Mom, MaDear, Big Sister, Aunt Lula Mae, Grandma!Interment:J.
