Life ReflectionsLula Viola Conway A.K.A. "Dump" was born on September 10, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri,out of love to Matthew and Dorothy M. Hinkle and was an only child. In her early teen yearsher parents each remarried. From both of her parents second marriage, Lula was blessed with 3 sisters, Dorothy P. Smith - Loving, Hazel Hinkle, Vietta Hinkle and 2 brothers, Alonzo Smith, Jr.and Matthew Hinkle, Jr.Lula attended Douglass High School and was the "Baddest" majorette leader around - not to saythe pretest - twirling a a baton that only she could manipulate to be the leader.At age 23 she met a handsome Army soldier named Donald Lorenzo Conway and they married onAugust 11, 1961 and together they raised 4 children - Crystal D. Lennox-Cole, Charlles M. Lennox,Donald L. Conway, Jr., and Phillip A. Conway, Sr.Lula accepted Christ early in her life and made sure her children knew Christ too.She leaves to cherish memories: 4 children, 1 sister, Dorothy P. Smith-Loving, 1 brother, AlonzoSmith, Jr., and beautiful grandkids, great-grand kids, great-great-grand kids and a host of nieces,nephews and other relatives and friends.Interment:J,B.
