Luella Laverne Jackson

Life Reflections Luella Laverne, the daughter and the oldest of three children born to Ida Clay, the granddaughter of James Lehmon and Martha Posey Boyd Brown, was born on March 13, 1918 in Boonville, Warrick County, Indiana. As a child she grew up in Boonville and later moved to Evansville, Indiana. She attended Lincoln High School and graduated in the class of 1935. Luella married Charles T. Jackson on August 8, 1938. From this union two children were born, Ronald Thomas and Martha Ann. Luella was a dedicated wife, wonderful homemaker and mother. She was very active in her children's school activities and her church, New Hope Baptist Church, Evansville, Indiana. Luella was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Mr. Charles Jackson and her brothe .
