Lucille Ivy

October 16, 1947 — April 23, 2021

Life Reflections Born on October 16, 1947. Lucille was affectionately known as "Lue" to all who loved her. She was the second child born to the union of James and Inez Ivy. Growing up in Mississippi she was raised by her grandparents Robertson and Ether Lee Davidson. She attended elementary school and Beasley High. After moving to Saint Louis, Missouri, she worked at a shelter workshop for 30 years. Lucille loved the Lord; she was introduced to the Lord in Mississippi when she attended Robinson Chapel CME Church at an early age. After relocating to Saint Louis, she attended Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with her mother, later they transferred to Eternal Light Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Junior Parker. After the passing of her mother, she united with Divine Healing Assembly Church under the leadership of her sister, Pastor Izola Toy. Lucille enjoyed being around people. She and Flora were like soul mates that God had joined two together, and they had their language. They were always sharing things and going places together. Lue leaves to cherish all our precious memories, her beloved devoted sister Flora Ivy; a sister that loved and took care of her, Izola Toy; and her brother that she shared a special bond with, Anthony Brown; one niece, Catina Toy and her two children, Joseph-Hayes Toy and Trainee Rainey; and Aunt Hattie Smith. Lue loved dearly and cherish all her uncles, aunts, and a multitude of cousins and all the friends she made along the way. Interment:Laurel Hill Cemetery2600 PennsylvaniaPagedale, MO 63133 .
