Linnie Ries

ObituaryLinnie C. Ries was born October 18th, 1918 to Robert F. and Lucy Babbitt in Okolona, Mississippi. She was married to Eddie Ries who preceded her in death. Her mother, father and several sisters and brothers also preceded her in death. Linnie received a hope in Christ at an early age and was a dedicated member and usher of The First Missionary Baptist Church of Inkel. Michigan for 15 years. She worked at South Side Cleaner in Detroit, Michigan until she retired and moved to St. Louis, Missouri to unite with the family. Shewasa lovingsister,wewillmissherwonderful laughter. Linnie departed this life on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Rancho Manor Nursing Home. She leaves to cherish her memory: four sisters, Dovie Allen, Beatrice Cain, Nadine Donnell and Easter Smith; 2 brothers, Robert Babbitt, Jr. and Bennie L. Babbitt, Sr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Interment:Memorial Park Crematory .
