Linda Arneal Davis

Life Reflections Linda Arneal Davis was born on October 1, 1949, to Myrtle Clark and Harold Davis, the fifthof six children. Linda was preceded in death by both parents two sisters; Dorris Simonand Anita Marsh, and one brother, Stephen Davis. Linda accepted Christ at a very young age and was a proud member of Blackwell ChapelA.M.E. Zion Church for all of her life. She was very active in church as a faithful choir member,Sunday School teacher, Leader of the Buds of Promise and Youth Missionary Society, servanton the Parthenia Morrison Missionary Society, and a very proud Deac ness. Linda was veryinstrumental in the spiritual formation and discipleship of both youth and young adults. Linda was a lifetime resident of Webster Groves d was educated in the Webster Groves School District. She was a proud Statesmen. When she graduated from High School, Linda went to work for the J. C. Penney Company for 28 years, after which she retired. Upon retirement, she went on to achieve her Bachelor's Degree,in Psychology from Capella University. Always concerned about the welfare of the younger generation, Linda taught at various pre-schools in the St. Louis area, Not having children of her own, Linda was a mainstay in the lives of all her nieces and nephews.It was important to her that they all be raised up in the way they should go and she sacrificed to make sure that happened. There are just not enough words to earnestly escribe how vital she remained in all their lives. Linda leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Kaye E Joseph; one brother, Durwar C. Davis,and a special nephew, Corey Barrett. Unique and distinct memoirs from Donna Johnston andRobert D. Barrett.
