Lillie B. Hankins

Obituary LiIIie B. WiIIiams Hankins was born on April 4. 1921 in Tchula. Mississippi to John and Clara WiIIiams. She united at an early age at Antioch Baptist Church in Tchula. Mississippi. In 1938 she united in holy matrimony to Percy Hankins. Of that union one son. George and one daughter. Dora were born. About 1950. Mrs. Hankins came to Robertson, Missouri where she united with the First Baptist Church of Robertson under the leadership of Reverend 1. E. Butler. Mrs. Hankins served on the usher board for many years and was a member of the Lelia Mae Smith Circle until her iIIness. Mrs. Hankins was employed for many years at Executive Inn and Famous Barr until her retirement. Since 1984. she was a resident of Spanish Lake Nursing Home. On Tuesday. March 7, 2000 she went to be with the Lord. She leaves to cherish her memory: One daughter. Dora and one son. George; Two sisters, Bertha WiIIiams and Francedine Smith; Five brothers. Ed, Eugene, L.D .. RC. and Charles; Twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, one brother-inlaw. one sister-in-law. many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her husband. Percy preceded her in death December 22, 1996. When Tomorrow Starts Without Me?
