Leslie Hamilton, Sr.

ObituaryLeslie Hamilton was the second of six children born to Frank and MinervaHamilton on February 10, 1918 in Gray Summit, Missouri. His parents, one brother, and three sisters preceded him in death. The Hamilton family moved to Webster Groves, Missouri in 1924 where he attended school. Leslie joined in holy matrimony to Mary Lewis Martin, who preceded him in death. Leslie served in the u.S. Navy and was the owner of Hamilton's Bar until his retirement. On Tuesday afternoon, May 6, 2008 God summoned him home. Leslie will sadly be missed by his entire family, including his 7 children, Elosie, Eugene (Carole), Charles, Celestine, Leslie Jr. and Meretha Ann; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends, including one special cousin William (Cap) Calvin. Interment - Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery St.Louis, MO 63126 .
