Leonard was united in holy matrimony to Clara Moss in Earlington, Kentucky on August 5, 1967 and from this union four children were born, one son, who preceded him in death and three daughters. He was a devoted father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. It brought Leonard great joy to call himself Maplewood's # 1 fan and attend basketball and football games regularly. Leonard (Dad), We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. "Dad (Pops), thanks for being all that you were and still are to your children and your grandchildren. We were truly blessed to have a father and grandfather like you. We love you always" ... Love, Your Daughters and GrandchildrenInternment:Jefferson Barracks National CemeterySaint Louis, Missouri .
