Leonard Tyrone Ingram

September 14, 1957 — April 22, 2020

Life Reflections Leonard Tyrone Ingram was born on September 14, 1957 to proud parents John Frank Ingram and Barbara Ann Ingram in Webster Groves, Missouri. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, two brothers, Gary and Kevin Ingram. Leonard Ingram received his education from the Webster Groves school district and was offered an Art Scholarship to an art school in Chicago, Illinois. He was raised as a member of Gospei Temple Church of God in Christ. He loved praising and worshipping in the Lord our God our Savior. Leonard was united in holy matrimony to his best friend Joann Ingram. He was a dedicated husband, father and grand-father. Leonard Ingram owned and operated his own business, Ingram's Towing Company, which he started in 1990. He turned it into a family business with all of his brothers. He was a man of many talents. He loved to draw, paint, and write poetry. He played the piano and the drums. Leonard in his spare time enjoyed playing chess and dominos, those were his favorite. He loved reading, watching movies, and listening to all types of music, while sipping his black Folgers coffee. He enjoyed joking around with his sons and grandchildren. He had a special granddaughter (Nakailah) whom he loved and cherished with all of his heart; who was the apple of his eye. Leonard was a fun, loving, and happy person. He was a people's person. He knew people all over St. Louis, Missouri. Leonard was a down home type of guy, he could make you laugh, Cry, and smile all at the same time. His character never changed, he was always the same. On Wednesday, April 22, 2020, God's heavenly flood gates opened for Leonard at his home surround-ed by his wife, family. and friends. Special thanks to my cousin James (Jimmy) Wagner, who was always there for me. A phone call, a doctor's visit, or just cruising. Man take care of yourself. I love you Olson. I never gave up on you, don't you give up on you. Special thanks to my cousin Beverly/sister, who I could always count on as my (Bud). At Thanks-giving, we would always watch A Wonderful Life together. Special thanks to my friend Paul Thornton, we made it through those storms and rain. Leonard leaves to cherish his memories: his dedicated, loving wife, Joann Ingram (Babe, you were the best!
