Lena Rubin

Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, has died at age 77. Shedied Monday, April 20, 2015 at her home in St. Louis from acuteleukemia. In her last hours she was surrounded by her family, in-cluding husband Michael Rubin, son and daughter-in-law Alex and Nancy Rubin, and grandsons Nick and Andrew Rubin.Her last day was spent enjoying Nick playing piano and was fullof laughter and conversation.Lena was born in Kiev in 1938. She married her husband of 55years on New Year's Eve of 1959. Since 1978, Lena, her husbandand her son have lived in St. Louis, MO. She started work as anaccounting clerk at Royal Banks of Missouri, and finished her 22-yeartenure as Vice-President. She will be remembered by all as a loving,caring individual with a willingness to help others in time of need.We will always remember Lena as the ever-elegant, ever-caring,fantastic chef who was and is loved by all who knew her.We will always love you,Your husband, children,and grandchildren.Services: The memorial service will be held at Eliot Unitarian Chapel. 100 S.
