Life ReflectionsLawrence "Larry" Jolliff, began his life in St. Louis, Missouri to Lanett Jolliff and Lawrence McGill on December 13, 1978. He was the third child of four. Lawrence attended McCluer North High School. Larry graduated from St. Louis Community College with his Associates Degree and later went to the University of Missouri-St. Louis to attend the nursing program. In October 2017, he received his formal introduction into the nursing program by obtaining his "White Coat". He was known by his colleagues for his tireless energy, he received many accolades for services, strove to be the best, and enhanced his medical professional levels of skills. Larry belonged to many organizations and social clubs. He Show-cased his leadership skills, in elevating to the next professional level of care. He stayed committed and worked hard, self-determination escalated him to reach greater heights in his life. Larry celebrated family, he was a loving son, brother, uncle and cousin. He exhibited peace, love and understanding from the foundation his mother Larett Jolliff and grandmother Minnie Lee Jolliff instilled in him at a young age. Larry had the warmest smile that could light up a room. His loving spirit came with peace, hugs, and well-wishes for all, these attributes will be forever remembered and never forgotten. Larry enjoyed all his siblings and was elated from the love, and support that was given over the years. He was blessed with nieces, nephews and cousins to love on. Family was the most loved gift that God placed upon him and it showed through his conversation. Family became the cornerstone of his life, his mother became the many diamonds and stones that he wore within his heart, while fulfilling his dreams with hope and cherishing every second of his day with compassionate love. On January 4, 2018 his life expired as he lived, with great dignity and peace, and without a fuss, he surrendered to God's Call. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Larett Jolliff; his father, Lawrence McGill; three brothers, Curtis Jolliff, Charles Harris, and LaMar McGill; one sister, Alisha one niece, Alyse Harris; two nephews, Ricky Johnson, Landon Harris; one uncle, Arthur Jolliff; extended family, Mama Valerie, Leonard and Ronnie Holland and Melvin Tobias; several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. his brother, William and his grand-parents preceded him in death.
